This is exactly what it sounds like: we clean your rug in place, at your home.

Best for:

• Rugs in good general condition needing a routine deep clean
• Larger rugs that are impractical to move
• Synthetic and machine-made rugs that handle in-place cleaning well
• When you need it done quickly, with no time away from the room

On-site cleaning is faster and less disruptive, but it's not always suitable for delicate natural fibres or rugs with heavy, ground-in soiling that needs deeper treatment than in-place methods allow.

Off-site rug cleaning

This means the rug is collected, taken to a dedicated facility, and cleaned there before being returned.

Best for:

• Delicate or natural-fibre rugs (wool, silk, viscose, hand-knotted pieces)
• Rugs with heavy soiling, pet accidents, or odour that need deeper, more controlled treatment
• Rugs that benefit from being cleaned on both sides
• Rugs with fringing or edges that need careful, hands-on attention
• Faster, more controlled drying, since it's not dependent on your home's airflow or space

It takes longer since the rug is away from your home for a period, and there's transport involved, but it allows for a far more thorough clean on rugs that genuinely need it.

How we decide which one your rug needs

It comes down to the fibre, the condition, and how the rug is made. A machine-made synthetic rug with everyday soiling is usually a great fit for on-site cleaning. A hand-knotted wool rug, an heirloom piece, or anything with serious odour or staining is almost always better off cleaned properly off-site, where we have full control over the process.
